Geographic Information System (GIS) Digital Base Map Development

GeoComm prides itself on using sophisticated techniques to create accurate and cost-effective GIS data. With a strong foundation of technical resources, project management infrastructure and a structured quality assurance curriculum, GeoComm builds base maps and delivers projects nationwide.

Over the years, GeoComm has developed and implemented a structured quality assurance curriculum as well as a variety of tools to assist in the quality control process. These processes are monitored by our GIS project teams and occur throughout the GIS map data development project. Created for implementation in a PSAP for 9-1-1 call plotting, our map data is fine tuned to correspond to the master street address guide (MSAG) and automatic location information (ALI) database in order to ensure the highest rate of call plotting possible.

All geographic positioning systems data collected for the mapping system will exceed national map accuracy specifications for 1:24,000 scale mapping.
