GeoComm named ESRI Business Partner of the Year 2008
St. Cloud, MN - GeoComm was awarded the Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) Business Partner of the Year award for 2008 from the Minneapolis Region.
GeoComm is one of only 10 business partners to win the award. The award winners are recommended by one of ESRI's 10 United States regional offices. The regional office out of Minneapolis nominated us based upon a number of criteria and forwarded their recommendation onto ESRI's headquarters.
"GeoComm has been developing its GeoLynx suite of public safety 9-1-1 solutions for more than 12 years by integrating GIS and wireless communications. GeoComm is receiving this award for its commitment to the ESRI platform and providing first-class public safety applications and consulting services. The company was one of the earliest adopters of the ArcObjects 9.2 platform and ArcGIS Engine for its applications. A few years ago, GeoComm made the strategic business decision to select ESRI as its GIS technology provider of choice. Today, it is using the ESRI platform to develop desktop, server, and mobile solutions, and continues to expand its use of ESRI technology to support its clients in new and exciting ways," Brinton Bromley, Business Partner Development Manager.
"GeoComm is committed to bringing the most advanced technologies to the public safety industry. We view our relationship with ESRI as essential to our continued success as a public safety software, GIS, and consulting company," Tom Grones, GeoComm President/CEO.
