GeoLynx EOC Uses ArcGIS Server to Provide Decision-Based GIS
St. Cloud, MN - GeoComm and ESRI announce the release of GeoLynx EOC Emergency Operations Center built on ArcGIS Server. ArcGIS server is ESRI's premier integrated server based GIS application. By building a public safety application on ArcGIS server, GeoComm is bringing this premier application to those who need interactive GIS data the most - the public safety industry.
GeoLynx EOC emergency operations center is a Web-based command center. It provides a Common Operating Picture (COP) with vital information to establish situational awareness for decision support. GeoLynx EOC enables multiple users with different roles to view and understand what is happening within the jurisdiction.
ArcGIS server is an essential component for critical situational awareness allowing the display of real-time information overlaid on GIS data in a simple graphical format. This capability sorts through massive amounts of data to deliver actionable information for emergency decision support.
Emergency managers must access information from a variety of disparate sources to anticipate, mitigate, and respond to complex emergencies. GeoComm's new GeoLynx EOC solution with ArcGIS server provides the capability to acquire, analyze, and present information that is easy to understand and act upon.
GeoLynx EOC brings crucial data together for viewing anywhere there is a Web browser: in your office, on your laptop, in your vehicle, in a conference room, and in many locations across your jurisdiction or across the country.
