Job Summary:
The Account Manager is responsible for developing and implementing
specific strategic action plans to meet or exceed sales and profitability
goals.
Essential Specific Job Duties:
- Attains sales goals.
- Develops strategic marketing/sales plans for an authorized
geographical area in conjunction with the Vice President of Sales and
Sales Manager.
- Understands all GeoComm products, features, benefits, capabilities,
operations, solutions, and applications.
- Follows sales process from initial prospective client contact
through appropriate sales and proposal presentations.
- Submits requests for proposals containing necessary background data.
- Participates in Trade Shows as appropriate.
- Develops and maintains CRM sales database.
- Submits monthly reports to the Sales Manager pertaining to all sales
activities to include prospective clients, marketing opportunities,
proposal status, and contract closings.
- Performs general management and coordinating activities on projects.

Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree and
Valid Driver's License
Related Experience:
2 years
Desirable Training and Experience:
- Past experience in public sector sales.
- Proven sales success track record.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
with county staff, company personnel, employees, and the general public.
- Ability to perform highly responsible assignments requiring
experience, judgment, and discretion.
- Ability to coordinate tasks for varied program and project areas.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
