Director of Consulting Services Appointed
GeoComm, a leader in public safety software, consulting, and Geographic Information Services (GIS), is pleased to announce that Greg Ballentine has joined the company's management team as the Director of Consulting Services. This is a new executive level position that will lead GeoComm's public safety consulting operations.
Ballentine is the immediate Past-President of the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials International (APCO) and is leaving his post as Director of Public Safety with the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) after more than 10 years.
Ballentine has contributed his expertise and leadership to the public safety industry in a variety of roles over the last 25 years. His experience is highlighted by involvement in the day-to-day operations of 9-1-1 and public safety systems. This includes managing multi-agency communications centers, regional 9-1-1 systems, and involvement with a number of public safety committees including the Public Safety Foundation of America (PSFA), and the APCO Institute Board of Directors. In his new position, he will oversee all consulting operations on behalf of GeoComm.
